Karanyi Sounds plugins work in most modern DAWs, as long as they support VST3, AU, or AAX plugin formats.

Below is a compatibility table showing which plugin format is used by each DAW and on which operating system it is supported:

🎻 Kontakt Instruments

Some Karanyi Sounds products are Kontakt-based instruments, which require:

• The full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 6 or 7

• Format: Kontakt plugin (VST3, AU, AAX) — handled by Kontakt itself

• Compatible DAWs: All that support Kontakt as a plugin (see above list)

⚠️ Kontakt Player (free version) is not supported, unless otherwise stated. You will see a 15-minute demo mode in that case.
